Calgary Club Basketball Program — Respect Basketball

Respect Basketball is a highly experienced, not-for-profit basketball program in Calgary, AB offering fall basketball, winter basketball, spring basketball, and full year basketball programs. Respect Basketball takes pride in offering Calgary basketball programs for boys and girls ages 6-18 of all skill levels.
Our highly skilled coaches are current high school, NCCP, AAU, and NCAA Certified and many are also former university and college players themselves.

Respect Basketball is a proud supporter and member in good standing with Alberta Basketball, which follows the Canada Basketball model. 

Respect athletes will progress through our Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior programs which follow our “RESPECT BASKETBALL” curriculum. We do not hold “tryouts”, we hold evaluations and grade players based on their skill level, not their age. We also do not cut players; we place them in skill-appropriate groups that are best for their overall development. Our programs range from beginners with no basketball experience to elite-level training and competitive travel teams. Combining our high-level on-court training and game situational learning with our off-court “RESPECT TRAINING” which focuses on Physical, Mental, and Character Development, players will find success and development at all levels of play. At Respect Basketball, our goal is to not only develop outstanding basketball players but also encourage players to become the best version of themselves both on and off the court. 

People say playing basketball builds character but at RESPECT, we believe playing basketball REVEALS character. Character is the driving force behind becoming a successful person on and off the basketball court, which is the premise of our program.
