RESPECT SENIOR SQUAD (HIGH SCHOOL)
The Respect Basketball Senior Squad is a Calgary Club Basketball program for boys and girls U16-U18. During the 2023 Spring Club Basketball season, Respect Seniors will harness and refine the physical skills of the game with 2 high-intensity practices per week. Respect players learn the philosophy of the game, skill-appropriate plays & strategies, rules & terminology along with character-building and focus on team camaraderie.
Respect Seniors are guided through the recruitment process for all collegiate levels of play, including ACAC, USport, JUCO, and NCAA. We assist our senior athletes throughout the recruitment process which includes a focus on your education as well as your skill on the court. Respect Basketball has a long list of contacts for all areas of collegiate basketball in both the United States and Canada. Senior travel teams will enter tournaments that showcase their talent in front of recruiters and coaches.
We know not all senior athletes are looking to play post secondary basketball — we support our athletes in whatever direction they choose to follow. Graduating Senior athletes who want to play their final season of club basketball and are looking for less commitment are welcome to evaluate for one of our local teams. We want you to be able to enjoy your final season of club basketball while balancing demanding exam schedules and graduation events.

SPRING SEASON - EVALUATIONS WEEK OF MARCH 20th - SEASON RUNS APRIL 1st JULY 3rd
Spring team evaluations will take place in mid-March, after the city high school basketball finals. Please note, we do not cut players from our programs, and we do not charge an additional fee to reevaluate for placement on a Spring team.
The spring basketball season offers competitive game opportunities and will include:
- 2-3 team practices per week
- 3-4 tournaments or league equivalent included (AAU/USA & Canada Options)
- Exhibition games
Spring teams focus on team-directed learning including offense and defensive systems and strategies for game-play during the spring season.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
We are pleased to offer flexible payment options! Finances will never stand in the way of a child participating in our program! We Accept Cash, E-Transfer, or Credit Card Payments (subject to 3% administrative fee)
INSTALLMENT PAYMENT OPTION
A 25% Deposit ($300.00) is Required at the Time of Registration
Three Payments of $300 to be Made Prior to June 1, 2023.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT: If you would like to pay by credit card, please select “cash” when prompted during the registration process. After completing your registration form, click the link found in your confirmation email to access our payment portal and follow the prompts to process your payment.
CASH: Cash payments are accepted and arrangements for pickup will be made after registration. Please note, payment is required in order to secure your spot.

KidSport and Jumpstart Grants
We are pleased to accept both KidSport and Jumpstart grants — please contact us for more information or apply online for funding. Please note, you must register for our program before applying for a grant.
MULTI-FAMILY MEMBER DISCOUNT
Respect Basketball is pleased to offer families with two or more athletes registering in a full-year program a 5% discount for each registrant.
Due to high demand, limited space is available and all programs are offered on a first-registered, first-paid (deposit or in full) basis.
